Please observe the following instructions. You will ensure a smooth and efficient control at the security checkpoint.

Items that are prohibited in your hand baggage:

Liquids, gels, creams, pastes and sprays in containers that exceed 100 ml; and Weapons and sharp objects with a blade length that exceeds 6 cm.

Items that are prohibited (hand baggage and checked baggage):

   

Exceptions:

  1. Each passenger may carry one lighter or one box of matches on their person.

  2. Spare batteries, power banks and e-cigarettes may be carried in hand baggage if their output does not exceed 160 Wh.

Liquids in your hand baggage

Liquids, gels, creams, pastes and sprays are only permitted in hand baggage in containers with a maximum size of 100 ml (1 dl). All containers (tubes, jars, bottles, etc.) must fit easily into a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum size of one litre. Liquids must be shown separately at the security checkpoint. They may only be taken on board the flight if they have been approved by the security staff. One plastic bag is allowed per person (also applies to children and infants).

Liquid medicines, baby food and food for special dietary requirements in the quantities necessary for the journey are also permitted in containers of over 100 ml (1 dl). You may also take on board liquid tax & duty free articles in containers of over 100 ml provided these are transported with the sales receipt in a sealed security bag (as per ICAO standards).

Liquids must be shown separately at the security checkpoint. They may only be taken on board the flight if they have been approved by the security staff.

Spare batteries and power banks

For security reasons you may not take any spare batteries or power banks in your checked baggage. You may take such objects with max. output of 160 Wh in your hand baggage, subject to the following provisions:

  • Max. two spare batteries/power banks if the nominal output of the individual products exceeds 100 Wh.; and

  • the batteries/power banks must be secured individually against short circuits.

Batteries and power banks with an output of over 160 Wh are prohibited.
